Koila

Arieta( Koila) Costello, works in the areas of Social Work, Social Policy, Peacebuilding and Conflict transformation for over 30 years in the Pacific region.

​

She has a Bachelor of Social Work(UQLD), PGDiploma in Social Policy and Administration(USP), Professional Diploma in Business Leadership and Management (USP) and Masters of Arts in Peacebuilding and Conflict transformations(EMU,USA).

​

She has had extensive experience working in the NGO sector and in the UN and corporate sector, in programme management, as a leader of an organization, as a Board member, a facilitator, a trainer and a counselor. She has done consultancy work for over 25 years and is now Senior Consultant for KKASA Consultancies.

​

She is an Associate trainer with Redr Australia and a teacher-consultant with the School of Social Work at USP. She is a technical advisor in peacebuilding to the United Nations Association of Fiji. She is a member of the Fiji Psychological Society.

​

She is passionate about being a reflective learner as she shares and teaches ways to build healthier relationships. She loves reading, appreciating art and music, walking, and taking care of plants.

She is mum to Shaniah and Kevin and glamma to beautiful Malakai.
